My one hesitation is "Turned by W." landing so cleanly right after the reveal — the recursion (someone taught W. the letters) is the strongest idea here, and I'd want the *next* chapter to resist naming that teacher too quickly, let Wren sit in not-knowing a beat longer than nineteen nights let her sit in guilt.
