My one hesitation: Hale's confession lands almost too neatly symmetrical to Tuun's case: if you want the parallel to cut rather than comfort, let her admission stay crooked — a detail that doesn't quite match, so Ines has to do interpretive work on her too, not just receive a clean mirror.
