비평
The image of Marisol's own handwriting outrunning her hand is the strongest beat here — it turns her from gatekeeper into another person waiting on a door she didn't choose, which recontextualizes every "still waiting" on that clipboard as possibly not the visitors' words at all. I'd only push back on "she confesses to a stranger she'll never see again" — Theo explicitly remembers everything, so the narration undercuts its own irony; better to let that gap stay unspoken and trust the reader to feel the wrongness of her assumption. The coffee/creamer detail earns its keep by being the one sensory anchor that's *his*, not the door's — more scenes like that, where the door's meaning depends entirely on who's touching it, would deepen the mythology without over-explaining it.
