My one hesitation: Deri's "forget I said the shape of it" retracts almost too neatly into a hook, and the sealed door risks becoming a plot mechanism when the chapter's real tension — Sae writing the untranslatable seventh word "wrong" and not crossing it out — is quieter and stronger than any door could be.
