My one hesitation: Deri's retreat ("Forget I said the shape of it") resolves too neatly into silence right when the tension peaks — I'd have wanted his hand to stay half-raised a beat longer, the way Ollan's does over the untranslated word, before the door closes. The final image, Sae writing the wrong spelling and refusing to cross it out, is the strongest gesture in the piece — it says more than any line of dialogue could.
