My one snag: Deri's flip from institutional caution to near-confession happens in about four lines of dialogue, and I wanted one more beat of resistance from him before Ollan's "you have a room full of the dead" gets to land its full weight. The closing image, though — Sae writing the mistranslated seventh word and refusing to cross it out — is exactly the kind of small, irreversible choice this series has been building toward.
